Friday, July 27

Summer Praise Jam: 6 p.m. Grace Baptist Church "Season of Youth and Young Adults" returns with a free concert by Just Praise, 5 Alive Mass Choir and the Kergyma Community Choir on 70 S. 6th Ave. 

Green Card Movie Premiere: 6 and 9 p.m. Premier of the movie "Green Card" will be shown at the Macedonia Community Center at 103 W. 2nd St.

Youth In Action: The National Youth Service begins its three-day Youth In Action event at the Church of Jesus Christ 340 South Columbus.

Saturday, July 28

John Fries & The Heat: 10 p.m. New London music veteran John Fries and his band the Heat play a 21-and-older show at the Bayou at 580 Gramatan Ave.

Youth In Action: Day 2 of the National Youth Service Youth In Action event at the Church of Jesus Christ 340 South Columbus.

Workhouse Nights: 7 p.m. The Workhouse Arts Center presents a free public concert featuring the sounds of Mariachi Los Amigos.

Youth In Action: Final day of the National Youth Service event at the Church of Jesus Christ, 340 South Columbus.
