MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Helping shelter dogs become good pets once they find a home is the topic of an upcoming event offered by the Friends of the Mount Vernon Shelter Animals on Wednesday, April 13 at the Mount Vernon Armory.
Jeris Pugh, owner of the Martial Arfs Dog Training and Fitness will offer a free program for training shelter dogs on April 13 at the Mount Vernon Armory.

The free event will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Amory at 144 N. 5th Ave. All invited.
