Hand Grenade Found On Property In Westchester A hand grenade was discovered on property owned by Westchester County. The discovery occurred on Monday morning, July 29,  in Tuckahoe, Westchester County Police said. The grenade contained no gunpowder and did not pose any safety threat to the public, police said. The Westchester County Police Hazardous Devices Unit removed the grenade from property near Tuckahoe Road and Garrett Avenue that is part of the Bronx River Parkway Reservation, police said.
