Richard Bogholtz Of Mahopac, Longtime Employee At IBM In Fishkill, Dies
A retired engineer from IBM in Fishkill, Richard Bogholtz Jr., a longtime resident of Mahopac, died Friday, Aug. 30, at age 90.
He was born in the Bronx on Nov. 5, 1928, the son of Richard and Wilhelmina (Bauman) Bogholtz.
Bogholtz served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict where he earned the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.
He was a ham radio operator and a member of the PEARL Radio Club and the Radio League.
Bogholtz retired in 1991 from IBM Corp. in Fishkill.

Richard Liebson, a longtime journalist in Westchester, died Sunday, in White Plains at age 61, according to The Journal News/lohud.com, where he worked for decades.
Liebson had cancer for about two years, according to the article.
Liebson was a crime reporter for more than 30 years at The Journal News. The article says he was one of the newspaper's "best-known writers and characters, a beat reporter of the old school."

William A. Stewart, Sr., 86, of Mount Kisco, died on Thursday, April 11.
He was born on Dec. 27, 1932, in Mount Kisco to Margaret (Hughes) and Robert Stewart. He was the beloved husband of Joan Fox Stewart, loving father of William Jr. (Linda), Margaret Brittingham (Gerry), James (Higgins), John (Duskie) and Ellen Rigano (Chip) and loving Poppy of nine grandchildren.
