School District In Northern Westchester Provides Update On Superintendent Search A Northern Westchester school district is asking members of the community to provide input as the district searches for a new superintendent. The Bedford Central School District Board of Education said it wants the community's input as it develops a "Superintendent Leadership Profile." School Superintendent In Northern Westchester Stepping Down A national search for a new superintendent has been launched by a school district in Westchester. This week, Dr. Joel Adelberg announced that he will be retiring as superintendent of the Bedford Central School District, effective as of June 30, 2022, after leading the district for more than two years.
