Man Rushed To Westchester Medical Center After Jumping From Overpass A man is in critical condition after jumping from an overpass bridge in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Rockland County around 11:15 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 16 at Route 59 and Dutch Lane in Spring Valley. According to the Spring Hill Community Ambulance Corps, who administered emergency medical care to the man, he was safely extricated from the ground using specialized equipment and transported to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla in critical condition. Westchester Tractor-Trailer Driver Hits, Kills Man Crossing Roadway, Police Say A 41-year-old Hudson Valley man was found dead lying on a roadway after reports of a crash. The incident took place in Rockland Countyaround 4:20 a.m., Monday, Oct. 23, on Route 59 in Spring Valley. According to Spring Valley Police Department Det. Matthew Galli, when officers arrived on the scene they found the victim in the roadway next to a tractor-trailer. The man, who has not been identified pending notification of family members, was pronounced dead at the scene by Rockland Paramedics.
