Woman With Suspended License Charged With Resisting Arrest In Southeast A woman from New Fairfield has been charged with resisting arrest following a traffic stop in Putnam, according to police. Officers from the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department say they observed a vehicle commit a series of traffic violations on Route 202 in the Town of Southeast on Saturday, May 4 around 1 p.m. The officer initiated a traffic stop and determined that the driver, identified as 56-year-old Deborah Kern, had a suspended license in the state of New York, according to police. When attempting to place Kern under arrest, police say she failed to obey commands and acted resistant.…
