Westchester Man Attempting To Cross Service Road Killed In Hit-Run Crash, Police Say A 52-year-old man from Westchester was hit and killed while attempting to cross a roadway in the Bronx. Raymond Baffuto, of Church St. in New Rochelle, was found around 5 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, when New York City Police responded to a 911 call regarding a crash involving a pedestrian struck, said the NYPD. Arriving officers found Baffuto unconscious and unresponsive, lying along the Bruckner Boulevard Service Road, the NYPD spokesman said.
