Officers stopped Waterbury resident Orlando Garcia at approximately 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 23 when he committed a traffic violation on the parkway near County Police Headquarters in Hawthorne. 20-Year-Old From Westchester Charged With Deadly Assault On Teenage Prison Inmate An inmate at the Westchester County Jail in Valhalla has been charged with manslaughter in connection with a deadly assault on a fellow prisoner. Westchester County Police charged William Johnson, 20, of Yonkers, with manslaughter for the Jan. 30, attack, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for Westchester County.  Johnson is accused of punching Bryce Neville, 18, of Mount Vernon, in the head, causing the man to suffer fatal injuries when he fell to the floor and struck his head, O'Leary said. Woman Charged With Assaulting Bus Driver In Mount Pleasant Following a five-week investigation, a Westchester woman was arrested and charged with assaulting a Bee-Line bus driver last month outside the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, Westchester County Police said. Johniazia Torres, 24, of White Plains was charged with second-degree assault, a felony. She was arraigned Friday, July 19 in Mount Pleasant Town Court and released on her own recognizance.
