Westchester Student Receives Full College Ride For Golf Caddying Talents
A New Rochelle High School senior is taking his talents on the golf course to Miami University in a rather unconventional way. Alex Vasapolli was among 17 students from the East Coast to receive the Evans Scholarship, which includes a full housing and tuition scholarship grant that is offered exclusively to golf caddies. Vasapolli has spent most of his life on the course, honing his craft at Wycagyl Country Club in New Rochelle.
