A man wanted by the New York City Police was spotted in Northern Westchester County, setting off a search by three agencies. The incident began in Mount Kisco when the Westchester County Police's Real Time Crime Center broadcast an alert that a vehicle wanted by the NYPD was operating on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Mount Kisco around 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 6. Rock Slide Ties Up Traffic For Second Time In A Week On Saw Mill River Parkway
The second rock slide in a week temporarily tied up rush hour traffic on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Westchester. The New York State Department of Transportation responded to a stretch of the parkway in Mount Kisco at approximately 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28, when there was a report of a rock slide that left debris in the right lanes southbound between Kisco Avenue and Route 133. A police canine helped track down a 23-year-old man who allegedly drank, drove, struck several things before attempting to flee on foot in Mount Kisco, investigators said. Westchester County Police received a report of a Toyota Scion which was traveling on Kisco Avenue at approximately 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, striking a parked car and a lamppost before coming to a rest against a tree near Hillside Avenue. Westchester County Police intervention was recently required when two men engaged in a physical dispute after being involved in a traffic incident in Mount Kisco. An officer on patrol near the intersection of Main Street and Carpenter Avenue shortly after 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, June 7 observed two groups of men who were engaged in a traffic dispute in the area. Crash Snarls Traffic, Causing Closures On Saw Mill River Parkway

A serious crash with injuries blocked the right lane and caused temporary closures on a stretch of the Saw Mill River Parkway in Northern Westchester early Tuesday evening. The incident, on the northbound side, occurred just south of Green Lane in Bedford Hills, with stop-and-go traffic backed up to Kisco Avenue (Exit 37) in Mount Kisco.
