Northern Westchester Man Cashed $2.6K Check Sent To Him Accidentally, Police Say A 41-year-old Northern Westchester resident allegedly attempted to cash a check for more than $2,500 that was accidentally mailed to him, police said. On Feb. 13, investigators at the Yorktown Police Department received a report from a local resident who said that check made out to him had been sent to an incorrect address and subsequently cashed, prompting an investigation.
