Son, 29, Pleads Guilty To Stabbing His Mother To Death In Westchester A 29-year-old man pleaded guilty to the stabbing death of his mother in Yonkers, according to Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino. Andre Coverdale pleaded guilty on Thursday, March 15 to first-degree manslaughter, a Class B felony, in the stabbing death of Dawne McCray of Yonkers.  County Court Judge Barry Warhit accepted the plea.
