Students in Kathy Adams' fifth-grade class orchestrated the donation of 15 large bags. As the students arrived at school each morning, they were excited to see what toys had been donated. They knew that the toys would make someone's holiday brighter. Steve Topilnycky, a Marine Corps coordinator for the Toys for Tots program, visited Kensico to collect the toys. As some students helped him load the toys into the van, he explained to them that the toys not only bring joy to the children but also to the parents who saw their children happy during the holidays.
