HAWTHORNE, N.Y. -- A 53-year-old male pedestrian who was struck by a car on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Hawthorne on Saturday night died of his injuries on Sunday, according to lohud.com.
The man has been identified as Ricky Archer of Clintondale in Ulster County.
The driver involved in the incident remained on the scene, the report said.
The crash occurred just before 10 p.m. just south of the split of the Bronx River Parkway.
