Off-Duty Police Chief Nabs Three Juveniles After Robbery Moments Earlier In Westchester

The job never stops for an off-duty police chief in Westchester who helped track down several minors who allegedly robbed an elderly man.

Bronxville Police Chief Christopher Satriale was sitting in traffic over the weekend, when he noticed three minors robbing the man near the intersection of Central Park Avenue and Palmer Road in Yonkers, police confirmed.

Satriale confirmed what he saw with the man, and proceeded to track down the three minors for several blocks until local police officers were able to respond to the scene and offer an assist in apprehending the minors.

Police said that there were no injuries reported, and the wallet was ultimately recovered and returned to the man. The three minors were arrested and are facing a host of charges, including robbery.
