Hawthorne Woman Charged With DWI

HAWTHORNE, N.Y. -- New York State Police charged a Hawthorne woman with driving while intoxicated on Sunday, Sept. 7, officials said.

Monica A. Viveros-Arce, 24, was pulled over on the Sprain Brook Parkway on a speeding violation.

Viveros-Arce submitted to a breath test and had a blood-alcohol content of .14 percent, almost twice the legal limit of 0,08 percent. She was ordered to appear at Town of Greenburgh Court on Tuesday, Sept. 23, police said.
