Numerous area police departments and members of the FBI swarmed a hospital in Westchester after receiving a false report of a man with a shotgun.
The incident occurred just before 9 p.m. Sunday, March 10 at New York-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital Center.
Those in the hospital were asked to shelter in place, but there were no evacuations after two patients on the sixth floor reportedly said they saw a man with a gun.
Authorities say no armed person was found and no shots were fired.
Police said further information would be released Monday morning, March 11.
