Ellen Mobilia, a longtime resident of North Salem, died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, Aug. 31 at the age of 57.
Born on July 23, 1962 to Mario and Ethel (Newsome) Bargellini, Ellen was raised in Eastchester and was known for being a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and wife.
Ellen is survived by Nick Mobilia, her husband of 22 years, as well as her children, Kimberly (Bryce) Coslett and Michael (Ali) Zanzano, her mother, Ethel Bargellini, and her siblings, Eugene (Miriam), John (Mary), Elizabeth Bargellini and Renee Faba.
Ellen is also survived by her nephews, Mario (Tara, Dean and Dahlia) and Eugene (Maria and Chloe), nieces, Lisa (Eric) and Anna, and her grandson, Michael Zanzano. She is predeceased by her father, Mario (Chet) Bargellini.
In addition to loving all children and her rescue cats, Ellen touched many lives and was “loved by all,” according to her obituary.
In lieu of flowers, Ellen’s family requests donations to The Ellen Mobilia St. Jude Children’s Fund.
