HAWTHORNE, N.Y. – Anna J. Santino, formerly of Hawthorne, died Nov. 25. She was 92.
Santino was born Feb.16, 1920, in Manati, Puerto Rico, to Juan and Altagracia Reyes. She worked as a registered nurse at Mount Vernon Hospital. She was most recently of Dallas, Texas.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Santino, in 2007, as well as a sister and two brothers. Santino is survived by a son, Joseph (Barbara) Rivera, of Beaumont, Texas; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Hawthorne Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne. Burial will follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx.
