"My kids are very sad," Diego Moulard told Daily Voice. "They call me almost every hour, asking if I've heard any information about Pinky."
The small white dog is 6 and is wearing a gray collar with its rabies tag. She's also sporting a pink bow and is microchipped.
The family is new to the neighborhood, having moved there in August. Moulard said this is the third time Pinky has gotten out, and he speculated she's still not used to Valhalla being her home. The Moulards moved from West Harrison, where Pinky had always lived.
"I believe that is the reason," Moulard said.
"She's very, very friendly," he added, so she's quite approachable, if you see her. "She's comfortable with anyone."
But that's a double-edged sword, since a finder might be inclined to keep her.
"Please return her," Moulard added.

UPDATE: Pinky has been reunited with her family.
