Accidents and Construction Affect County Roads

PELHAM, N.Y. – Accidents and roadwork caused delays on several roadways in Westchester on Thursday.

An accident occurred on I-95 southbound at Exit 18B, White Plains, just before 10:00 a.m., according to the New York State Thruway Authority.

An accident on NY 100 southbound just south of Woodbridge Road, NY 35 in Somers, blocked the right shoulder, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.

Roadwork on NY 9A in both directions at the Saw Mill River Parkway closed various lanes until 3:00 p.m.

Construction on I-684 in both directions between Exit 9A, I-287, and Exit 9, I-84, also closed various lanes until 3:00 p.m.

Roadwork on the Taconic State Parkway in both directions between Pinesbridge Road in New Castle and the exit for Underhill Avenue, CR 131 in Yorktown, caused various lane closures until 3:00 p.m.

Construction on the Hutchinson River Parkway in both directions between Exit 7, US 1 in Pelham, and Exit 21, Hutchinson Avenue in Scarsdale, caused right shoulder closures until 2:00 p.m.
