HAWTHORNE, N.Y. Ralph Joseph Pennella Sr., 66, of Hawthorne, died Sunday, April 8.
He was born March 27, 1946, in Mount Vernon to Joseph and Rose Pelliccio Pennella. He was employed by Consolidated Edison for 45 years and was a parishioner at Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne.
Pennella is survived by his wife, Patricia, of Hawthorne; a son, Ralph "Buddy" (Heidi) Pennella of Dade City, Fla.; a daughter, Jennine (Chris) Labriola of Thornwood; a brother, Nick Pennella, of Eastchester; a sister, Connie Pennella, of Hawthorne; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 14, and from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hawthorne Funeral Home. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in New Rochelle.
