TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- The hot weather didnt faze Thornwood resident and frequent Tarrytown visitor Jason Spoor as he sat outside the Washington Irving Boat Club Wednesday afternoon. In fact, he said hes a fan of hot weather.
Its pretty hot, but you know what? I like it, he said. I like it like this. I think I was a lizard in another life.
Spoor had been outside, relaxing by the lapping waves of the Hudson River for about an hour and a half, while other Tarrytowners did the same. The sunshine, he said, makes him feel good. With the National Weather Service predicting that temperatures will stay in the upper 90s, Spoor was excited.
I cant wait, he said. Bring it. Bring the heat.
