Westchester Medical Center Health Network recently appointed Susan Gerry as Senior Vice President for Strategic Alliances and Partnerships, Kelly MacMillan as Senior Vice President for Government Relations and Mecca Santana as Senior Vice President for Diversity, Inclusion and Community Engagement.
Gerry arrived at WMCHealth having previously served as Yonkers’ Deputy Mayor. With experience at both state and county levels, she will play a pivotal role in the development of strategic relationships to help the communities which the network serves.
A graduate of George Washington University, Gerry received a law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law. A South Salem resident, she enjoys trail running, fishing and other Hudson Valley outdoor activities.
In her position as Senior Vice President for Government Relations, MacMillan will develop and direct strategies to build relationships with elected officials and government agencies. Prior to joining WMCHealth, MacMillan worked in both the private and public sectors, from providing oversight and management of the construction of the Mario M. Cuomo Bridge to serving as chief of staff for New York State Assemblyman Richard Brodsky. A Pound Ridge resident and Roger Williams University graduate, she is a horse-enthusiast and enjoys equine activities with her family.
As Senior vice President for Diversity, Inclusion and Community Engagement, Mecca Santana will direct diversity and inclusion best practices across the network. Prior to joining WMCHealth, Santana held various positions within New York State and the New York City Department of Education. A University at Albany alumna, Santana received a law degree from Hofstra University. Santana currently resides with her family in Blauvelt where she cycles and coaches her daughter’s softball team.
