The new urgent care offices will provide medical care for all types of illnesses or injuries that require immediate care but are not serious enough to warrant a trip to the emergency room. Walk-in services will be available to both adults and children with many different symptoms including:
- Infections
- Sprains and fractures
- Ear, nose and throat problems
- Lacerations
- Pink eye
- Back pain
- Allergic reactions
- Fever
- Migraines
- And much more
“We are pleased to extend our urgent care services into Thornwood to better meet the needs of our local community,” said Dr. Scott D. Hayworth, President and CEO of CareMount Medical. “Our new urgent care facility provides the community with easy access to the quality clinical services CareMount Medical is known for.”
Thornwood marks the eighth urgent care facility for CareMount Medical. Hours of operation will be from 8:00 a.m. to 7:45 p.m., seven days a week. To check wait times for the Thornwood location, and all other urgent care locations, visit their website and click “urgent care wait times."
