The closure of Miles, The Prince, located at 873 North Broadway in White Plains, will take place after its final day on Saturday, Nov. 30, according to an announcement posted by owner and founder Zach Goldstein on the restaurant’s Instagram page.
Although Goldstein did not reveal a reason for the closure, he thanked former guests who "filled this space with love and memories."
"Getting to know MTP’s dedicated regulars is one of the highlights of my career," Goldstein added.
The restaurant originally opened on Nov. 18, 2023, and was founded with the goal of creating a space that exemplified hospitality while serving high-quality farm-to-table dishes and in-house brewed beers that complemented the dining experience, Goldstein said.
“I know that we achieved this and built one of the most consistently great and cohesive concepts in the region,” he said.
The announcement also included a message of gratitude to the team members who helped bring the restaurant’s vision to life.
“I am proud and grateful to have worked alongside Dana, Alessandro, Evan, Marcus, and Jack. Thank you to the entire team who worked tirelessly to execute the MTP vision. Your dedication to excellence has been inspiring,” Goldstein wrote.
He also thanked his wife, Julia, along with his family and friends, for providing the support necessary to make his dream a reality.
The closing announcement prompted shock and sadness from former visitors.
"This is a sad loss for the community. 😢 You created something beautifully special that you should be proud of," commented the Westchester Date Night newsletter.
"Bummer - we loved dining there and having you in the neighborhood! Wishing you all the best!" wrote another commenter.
Although the restaurant's end is imminent, visitors are still invited to stop by until its last day.
"Please celebrate with me and the MTP team during our final weeks!" Goldstein said.
