A 66-year-old New York man will spend decades in prison for planning a Connecticut jewelry store robbery that resulted in the death of the business's owner. White Plains resident Thomas Liberatore was sentenced on Monday, Dec. 18 to 32 years in federal prison for his involvement in the March 2020 robbery of Marco Jewelers in Stamford that left the owner dead, the US Attorney's Office for the District of Connecticut announced. Six From New Rochelle Charged In Drug Trafficking Ring
Nine members of a family run drug trafficking organization have been charged with narcotics conspiracy in connection to the FBI raid of a New Rochelle grocery store this week. Members of the FBI were spotted entering the Supermercado Mexico supermarket on Union Avenue in New Rochelle at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11, authorities said. Agents were seen taking boxes of evidence from the location and arrests have been made.
