Man Accused Of Beating Woman, Taking Police On Pursuit In Hudson Valley A man has been charged in connection with the alleged violent beating of a woman and then taking deputies on a pursuit in the Hudson Valley. Ulster County resident, Matthew A. Dequarto, age 23, of Rosendale, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 16, for the Monday, Tuesday, Feb. 13 assault, said Lt. Joseph Sciutto of the Ulster County Sheriff's Office. Man Rams Two Cruisers During Multi-County Pursuit Ending In Westchester, Police Say A Connecticut man was arrested by New York State Police for allegedly fleeing officers and ramming two police vehicles in an effort to escape before finally being apprehended in Westchester County. The incident started around 4 p.m. Thursday, June 24, when New York State Police were assisting the Mahwah, New Jersey, Police Department and South Nyack Police Department with a pursuit that entered I-287 and continued south on I-87, said Trooper Tara McCormick. State Police say they stopped her vehicle on I-87 in the Town of Greenburgh for a vehicle and traffic violation on at around 9:15 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 7.  Troopers then conducted a license check of the driver, Dominique H.
