An MTA train hit a person on the tracks, causing a serious leg wound. According to the MTA, the incident took place around 11:35 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 9, when the southbound Croton-Harmon-bound train struck the person at the Breakneck Ridge station in Fishkill in Dutchess County. The person struck was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center with a reported leg injury. Hudson Line service was initially suspended between Cold Spring and Beacon. The incident took place around 3:45 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 9, in Dutchess County approximately half a mile south of the Pawling station, said MTA officials. The victim, now identified as a 36-year-old man from Pawling. was pronounced dead at the scene, they added. The incident took place around 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 23, at the Hudson Avenue crossing in Peekskill, said Lt. Jack Galusha with the Peekskill Police. The incident took place at approximately 11:27 a.m., Thursday, May 6, as the westbound train was traveling in Fairfield County between Westport and East Norwalk, said Aaron Donovan, spokesman for the MTA. A person was killed after being struck by a Metro-North train overnight. The incident happened in Westchester County shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, just south of the Port Chester station, near the Kohl's Shopping Center. After trains were initially held at the scene, New Haven Line customers experienced delays of 45 to 50 minutes, according to Metro-North. A law enforcement vehicle was sideswiped by a Metro-North train as deputies searched for a missing 26-year-old man who had been boating on the Hudson River over the weekend. The 16-year-old boy who was struck by a Metro-North train in Westchester has died, according to MTA officials. The incident took place at the Pelham station around 5:45 p.m., Monday, Nov. 18, when the teen was struck, said Aaron Donovan, spokesman for Metro-North. Man Airlifted To Westchester Medical Center After Being Hit By Metro-North Train
A man received serious injuries to his leg after being struck by a work train heading north to Poughkeepsie. The incident took place around 4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26, near the Metro-North Breakneck Ridge Station, said Meredith Daniels, a spokeswoman for the MTA. When police and first responders arrived on the scene they found the man had sustained leg injuries and he was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center, Daniels said. Trains on the Hudson Line were delayed 15 to 20 minutes as a result of the incident. The MTA police are investigating the incident.

ID Released For Man Struck, Killed By Metro-North Train
MTA officials have identified the man hit and killed by a Metro-North train at the Fairfield Station. Jason Daniel Bernstein, 25, of Norwalk, was killed around 7:15 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 11, according to MTA officials. Officials said the incident is being investigated as "non-accidental." Trains were delayed on the New Haven line for several hours following the incident.

The identity of a man struck and killed by a Metro-North train in Westchester has been released. Surendra Bhansali, 64, of Scarsdale, was identified as the man killed by the 8:26 a.m. southbound train from Southeast that struck and killed him at approximately 9:20 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12.
