One Killed In Chain-Reaction Route 22 Crash A 51-year-old man was killed and three others hospitalized in the Hudson Valley following a chain-reaction crash, according to authorities. New York State Police troopers in Dutchess County launched an investigation into a fatal crash that was reported at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30 on State Route 22 in Dover. Police said that the initial investigation determined that Pawling resident David Elwell was driving a 2012 Hyundai Accent northbound on Route 22 near North Nellie Hill Road when he entered the southbound lanes for unknown reasons. Westchester Man Nabbed For DWI/Drugs Following Crash, Police Say A Northern Westchester man was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs following a traffic crash in which he hit a vehicle and a tree. William Hankins, age 41, of Ossining, was arrested on Tuesday, March 16, after Yorktown Police responded to a two-vehicle crash. The incident took place around 7:36 p.m. when the Yorktown officer responded to a call of a two-vehicle crash. Westchester Man Nabbed For Leaving Scene of Accident Police nabbed a Westchester man for leaving the scene of a traffic crash on East Putnam Avenue in Greenwich. Daniel Serpa-Goncalves de Silveira, 41, of Port Chester, turned himself into police on Sunday for leaving the scene of an accident on Feb. 4, police said. He was charged with evading responsibility and ticketed for following too closely. Daniel Serpa-Goncalves de Silveira was released on a $1,000 bond.
