Man Dies After Single-Vehicle Crash On Hudson Valley Roadway A 51-year-old man died after losing control of his motorcycle on a Hudson Valley roadway. The crash took place in Dutchess County around noon on Saturday, Aug. 13 in Stormville at the intersection of Route 216 and Phillips Road. Osgual Omar Romero-Godoy, age 20, of Stormville, was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 7, by Yorktown Police following a single-vehicle on Curry Street in Yorktown, the department said. According to police, officers responded to the crash and found Romero-Godoy who said there was a 1-year-old child in the backseat of the vehicle. NY State Announces Completion Of I-84 Paving Project A multi-million dollar resurfacing project along one of the Hudson Valley’s busiest stretches of I-84 has been completed. The New York State Department of Transportation announced on Tuesday, Dec. 8 that an $11 million project to resurface a 7.7-mile stretch of the interstate between Dutchess and Putnam counties has been completed. White Plains Native Ann Marie Beach Dies At 57 Ann Marie Beach, of Dutchess County, originally of Westchester, died Sunday, Aug. 11, at age 57. Beach who lived in Stormville was born in White Plains on Feb. 10, 1962. She met "the love of her life" William "Bill" Beach while attending high school and shortly after graduating, they married on June 28, 1980, said the obituary. They were married for 39 years and had two daughters, Tina Marie and Rose Mary.  Ann Marie Beach will be remembered most of all for the love and devotion she felt for her family and friends which included dogs, Cooper and Zoe, according to the obituary. …

But this weekend, we have received word of a bear who's a real night owl - so to speak. A family in Dutchess County tells us the bear has made back-to-back evening visits the last two days.
