New Superintendent To Take Command At District In Westchester
After an extensive search, a school district in Northern Westchester has named its next superintendent. Duncan Wilson has been selected as the new Superintendent of the North Salem Central School District and will take over the position on Saturday, July 1, district officials announced. An elementary school in Westchester will be transitioning to its remote learning model after two students already in isolation due to COVID-19 began experiencing mild symptoms. Legionella Bacteria Found In Water At School District In Westchester
A Westchester school district is reporting that Legionella bacteria, the cause of Legionnaires’ disease has been discovered in two of its schools. The Scarsdale School District alerted parents that legionella was found at the Scarsdale Middle School and the Quaker Ridge School, possibly caused by the extended school closures due to COVID-19, which left pipes sitting idle for months. Butler Field To Be Closed For Renovation During Fall Season In Scarsdale
A busy track and field in Scarsdale is set to get its first facelift after more than a decade.
