Stretch Of Busy Westchester Roadway To Be Closed During Day Throughout Week A busy roadway in the region will closed for roadwork. The New York State Department of Transportation (DOT) is advising motorists in Northern Westchester that Route 117 westbound in the Town of Mount Pleasant will be closed to traffic between Memorial Plaza and Tompkins Avenue for a five-day stretch. The closure will be daily beginning Monday, Nov. 18 and lasting through Friday, Nov. 22, between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., to facilitate a local road rehabilitation project, weather permitting. Motorists should follow the posted detour.
