Sprain Brook Parkway Double-Lane Closures Scheduled The New York State Department of Transportation is warning motorists of the upcoming left- and center-lane closures on the Sprain Brook Parkway. The Department says that left- and center-lane closures are expected on the Sprain Brook Parkway northbound between Interstate 287 and Route 100C in the town of Mount Pleasant and the village of Elmsford in Westchester. The closures will occur Monday, Sept. 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. while crews perform maintenance activities, weather permitting. The closures began at 5 p.m. Friday, April 6. Motorists are advised to expect significant delays. Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to all traffic control devices, including signs and flaggers.
