Man Nabbed After Whipping, Beating 2 Dogs In Westchester: Police
A Westchester man was hit with animal cruelty charges after he was caught on camera beating two dogs, including a young puppy, authorities said. Yonkers resident Roger Andrews was arrested on Monday, Nov. 18 after surveillance footage allegedly showed him severely beating two dogs, SPCA Westchester's Humane Law Enforcement Unit announced on Wednesday, Nov. 20. According to the SPCA, Andrews was seen beating a male puppy named Champ and a female dog named Pretty Girl.
