Duo Nabbed After Stealing From Mall In Westchester, Fleeing: Police A man and woman both face charges after stealing merchandise from a shopping mall in Northern Westchester and fleeing, police said. The arrests resulted from an incident on Monday, Oct. 23 just after 5:30 p.m., when Yorktown Police responded to Dick's Sporting Goods at the Jefferson Valley Mall at 650 Lee Blvd. for a reported larceny.  According to the department, police soon learned that the suspects drove off in a gray Audi sedan. Packages Of 30-Plus Victims Found At Accused Westchester Porch Pirate's Home, Police Say A Westchester County man was arrested for allegedly stealing packages off the porches of more than 30 homes. Everett Shaw was arrested after he was caught stealing a package off a porch in Mount Vernon, said News 12. When Mount Vernon police searched Shaw's home, they said they found packages belonging to more than 30 victims.  All of the packages were allegedly stolen over the last few weeks, News 12 said. Shaw is being held at the county jail on numerous charges including burglary, possession of stolen property, and larceny.

Man Charged With Stealing Cash, iPhone From Driver After Cab Ride From Westchester To Nyack A man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly stole cash and an iPhone from a taxi driver after a ride from Westchester to Nyack. On Wednesday, Jan. 9, 39-year-old William A. Caccia of Bleeker Street in Mount Vernon took a cab from Yonkers to North Midland Avenue in Nyack. After arriving at his destination, Caccia claimed that he needed to visit his mother at Nyack Hospital in order to get money to pay his fare.
