Student's Social Media Post With Racial Slur Being Investigated By Marist College With the nation in a state of unrest after George Floyd’s police-related death in Minnesota, officials at Marist College are investigating a social media message posted by a student that contained a racial epithet. An Instagram photo depicting the student in question and another person in a car had the n-word on the post, prompting Marist College President Dennis Murray to launch an investigation and reach out to the community.
