A man has been sentenced for murdering his ex-girlfriend in Westchester County. Luis Alturet-Rivera, age 47, of the Bronx, was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison on Friday, July 22 for the 2017 murder of his former girlfriend Diana Casado, said Westchester County District Attorney Miriam E. One-Time Fugitive Charged With Murdering Former Girlfriend In Westchester
A one-time fugitive implicated in the fatal shooting of a former girlfriend in Westchester has been indicted for murder. Luis Alturet-Rivera, who had to be extradited from Washington State has been arraigned on charges that include murder for his alleged role in the January 2017 murder of his one-time girlfriend, Diana Casado, in Yonkers. Alturet-Rivera was charged by a Westchester Grand Jury with murder, criminal possession of a weapon, and two counts each of grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, all felonies. Westchester Man Sentenced For Shooting 4-Year-Old Girl In Leg
A Westchester man is going to spend more than a decade behind bars following his sentencing for misfiring his gun, missing his intended target, and striking a 4-year-old girl in the leg while he was a teenager. Yonkers resident Floyd Bruce, now 21, was sentenced in Westchester County Court to 15 years in prison following his guilty plea last year. Bruce pleaded guilty on June 8 last year to felony counts of robbery, attempted assault and criminal possession of a weapon. He had faced up to 25 years for his conviction. Westchester Man To Be Sentenced For Shooting 4-Year-Old Girl
A Westchester County man is due to be sentenced this week for his role in the shooting of a 4-year-old girl in Yonkers in 2016. Floyd Bruce, 20, is scheduled to be sentenced on Thursday, May 31 after pleading guilty to felony charges of first-degree robbery, attempted assault and criminal possession of a weapon last year.
