Two Store Clerks Charged During Underage Drinking Detail In Westchester, Putnam
Two store clerks were charged during an Underage Drinking Initiative in Westchester and Putnam counties. During the detail conducted on Friday, July 1, 14 retail establishments were checked for compliance utilizing a trooper in plainclothes and an underage operative utilizing a valid NY driver’s license, New York State Police said. Twelve establishments were in compliance and refused to sell any alcoholic beverages to the underage operative. Police: Westchester Man Used Ax To Take Entire Holiday Tip From Co-Worker
A 54-year-old Northern Westchester man used an ax to forcibly take an entire holiday tip given by a customer that was intended to be divided between the two co-workers. At approximately 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13, state police troopers from the Cortlandt barracks were dispatched to Oscawana Lake Road in the town of Putnam Valley for a report of menacing with a weapon. Northern Westchester Pair Among Those Charged With DWI Over Weekend
With local and state police agencies cracking down on drunk, drugged and distracted driving, several local residents were among nearly two dozen in the area who found themselves on the wrong side of the law over the weekend. As part of the STOP-DWI Independence Day week-long crackdown, State Police troopers busted several motorists for driving while intoxicated as they attempt to stop motorists from drinking and driving in the area.
