A 66-year-old Hudson Valley man was killed when he crashed into a tree after leading authorities on a short pursuit in Northern Westchester, police said. According to authorities, an incident occurred on Tuesday, April 30, around 3:40 p.m. when New York State Police attempted to pull over a 2019 Nissan Altima on Route 100 in Somers. The car was allegedly not staying in its lane. A 26-year-old drunk driver faces charges following a Northern Westchester crash, police announced. Ossining resident Jorge Guaman was arrested on Saturday, March 2 following a crash in Yorktown on Route 100 in the area of Route 134 that happened just before 6:30 a.m., Yorktown Police announced on Wednesday, March 6. Person Extricated In Head-On Crash At Route 100/9A Intersection
Two motorists and their passengers was hospitalized overnight after being extricated from his vehicle following a head-on collision with a second car in Briarcliff. Volunteers from the Briarcliff Manor Fire Department were dispatched to Route 100, near the Route 9A interchange, behind the bus depot late on Monday night, where there were reports of a head-on crash that left one person pinned in his vehicle.
