Man Who Stepped Out Of Vehicle After Crash With Deer Struck, Killed By SUV In Hudson Valley A 70-year-old man was hit and killed by an SUV  when he stepped out of a vehicle to inspect the damage after hitting a deer. The incident took place in Sullivan County around 6:40 p.m., Friday, Oct. 21 in the town of Mamakating, said Trooper Steven Nevel, of the New York State Police. According to Nevel, troopers responded to Route 209 for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.  A preliminary investigation revealed that Orange County resident James F. Hudson Valley Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing Juvenile Victims At Daycare/Foster Care Homes A Hudson Valley man has been arrested for allegedly sexually multiple juvenile victims at daycare and in foster homes. Orange County resident John Olson, age 59, of the town of Warwick, was charged while incarcerated at the Delaware County Jail. An exact date of his arrest was not provided. The incidents are alleged to have occurred at a daycare/foster care home in the town of Warwick in Orange County and the town of Andes in Delaware County, the New York State Police said. Man Rushed To Westchester Medical Center After Rollover Crash In Area, Police Report A 54-year-old man was airlifted to the hospital after a rollover excavator crash in the region. Authorities responded to a report of an excavator rollover and entrapment in Sullivan County at Dump Road in Mamakating at about 12:40 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, according to New York State Police. One Killed, One Seriously Injured In Single-Engine Plane Crash In Hudson Valley One man was killed and another seriously injured in a single-engine plane crash in the area. It happened on Friday, June 5 at approximately 7:10 p.m. at the Wurtsboro–Sullivan County Airport in the town of Mamakating.  The two occupants of the single-engine challenger plane were both licensed pilots, State Police said.  Eddy R. Santana, 41, of Wurtsboro was found dead at the scene, according to police. Raymond Ellery, 42 of Poughkeepsie, was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center with multiple injuries.  The FAA and NTSB responded to the scene.  …
