Fleeing Truck Thief Caught In Neighborhood With Help Of K9 Officer In Westchester: Police After leading authorities on a chase that ended in a crash, a pickup truck thief wearing a bright yellow jumpsuit was caught in a Westchester neighborhood with the help of a K9 officer's nose, police said.  The incident began on Thursday, Sept. 14 around 6:15 p.m., when authorities were notified that a stolen Ford F350 pickup truck was traveling on the Hutchinson River Parkway in Harrison.  According to Westchester County Police, an officer soon found the truck and tried pulling it over near the interchange with Interstate 287. Lane Closures Scheduled On Long Stretch Of I-684 The New York State Department of Transportation has announced upcoming lane closures on a stretch of I-684 in Westchester County due to roadway paving.  Two lanes are expected to close along I-684 northbound between the Hutchinson River Parkway in Harrison and Exit 4 (Route 172) in Bedford, officials said. The closures are set to take place each night between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Sunday, April 24, through Thursday, May 5, to facilitate roadway paving activities, according to the announcement.
