Westchester Ambulette Company To Shut Down Due To Financial Hardship
As a result of financial hardship, a Northern Westchester-based ambulette service will soon shut down, affecting hundreds of daily medical trips. Mount Kisco-based United Transportation Providers of Westchester County, Inc. will be shutting down its ambulette services for Westchester residents with serious medical conditions and mobility difficulties at the end of the day on Friday, March 8, the company announced. Don't Say 'Inmate': NY Law Changes Term For Those Housed In State Prisons
Convicted criminals who spend time in New York prisons will no longer be officially referred to as “inmates.” Gov.
