Man Found Clinging To Dock In River In Port Chester On CT Border: Police A man was hospitalized after being pulled from a freezing river in Westchester on the Connecticut border, where he was discovered clinging to a dock.  The incident happened on Sunday, Nov. 12 around 1 a.m., when authorities were told that someone needed help in the area of the Byram River on the border between Port Chester and the Fairfield County town of Greenwich.  According to Port Chester Police, authorities on both sides of the river soon began looking for the person in need. The fatal crash, which killed a 52-year-old, took place Tuesday, July 13, on Lake Avenue in Greenwich. According to Slusarz, a 2013 Chevy Suburban was traveling north on Lake Avenue between Round Hill Road and Parsonage Road when it left the roadway and struck a stone wall and tree, said Greenwich PD Lt. Westchester Man Nabbed In Hit-And-Run Incident Involving Juvenile Two people, including a Westchester man, were arrested in a pair of separate hit-and-run incidents involving pedestrians in Greenwich, police said. The first incident took place on Friday when police responded to South Water Street for a report of a pedestrian struck by a grey Acura sedan, said Greenwich PD Lt. David Nemecek.
