A video has surfaced after a woman was attacked in broad daylight as she exited an Apple store in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Greenwich around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, July 18 on lower Greenwich Avenue. Woman Saved From Jumping Off New Tappan Zee Bridge By Good Samaritan
A woman who pulled her vehicle onto the shoulder of the roadway of the new Tappan Zee Bridge and began climbing the safety fence to jump from the span was saved by a Good Samaritan. The incident began around 12:50 p.m., Sunday, March 14, in the Tarrytown area of the bridge, said Trooper Tara McCormick. A Good Samaritan in Rockland County came to the rescue of some kids who found themselves in a potentially dangerous situation. Following last week’s snowstorm, more than a foot of snow piled up on some sidewalks in Monsey, making it more difficult to travel by foot. On Friday, Dec. 18, Lipa Rubin was stopped on Main Street near Orchard Street to allow two children to be dismissed from a school bus, one of whom struggled climbing a snowbank to get to the sidewalk as the bus drove off and traffic began flowing again. One Extricated After Car Overturns At Corner Of Routes 9A, 119
This story has been updated. Traffic was backed up following a two-vehicle crash at the corner of Route 9A and Route 119 in Elmsford. The incident took place around 9:15 a.m. Thursday when one vehicle hit another, sending it flying on its roof. One driver was able to get out of the car, but the woman in the flipped vehicle was cut out of her seatbelt by a Good Samaritan and pulled away. She was transported to the hospital for treatment, said the woman's husband. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

To The Rescue: Police Officers Help Corral Loose Iguana In Westchester
Jurassic Park came to Westchester on Thursday afternoon. Police officers from the 3rd Precinct in Yonkers were flagged by a local resident on Thursday afternoon, when an iguana was spotted and was on the loose in the area. The officers were able to corral the “not-so-little” reptile, and snapped some photos. The iguana was unharmed during the rescue mission, and was ultimately taken in by the Good Samaritan who alerted police to the stray animal.
