Cold Front Will Bring Change In Weather Pattern: 5-Day Forecast A cold front that swept through the region overnight brought scattered sprinkles and will usher in a change in the weather pattern. Thursday, Oct. 24, marks the start of what the National Weather Service calls a "subtle cool-down." It will be mainly cloudy through mid-morning, followed by gradual clearing. High temperatures will be in the mid-60s. Wind speeds will strengthen during the day with gusts out of the north as high as 25 to 30 miles per hour.
