No Mechanical Failure Before NY Plane Crash That Killed 34-Year-Old Pilot, NTSB Finds
Federal investigators have ruled out mechanical failure for causing a small plane crash in upstate New York that killed a beloved pilot and photographer. A preliminary report released by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Tuesday, July 2, states that investigators found no evidence of any pre-impact mechanical malfunctions or failures on either of the plane’s engines prior to the June 17 crash near Albany International Airport. IDs Released For Two Of Seven Victims In Deadly WWII Bomber Plane Crash
The names of two of the seven victims of a deadly World War II bomber plane crash at Bradley International Airport have been released by family members, but officials have declined to name those that perished. During a press conference on Wednesday, Oct. 2, Connecticut Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection Commissioner James Rovella said that to date seven people were killed and that the six survivors were in “varying medical conditions” that ranged from minor to critical condition.
