American, Larchmont Excel at Race Week Opti Day

LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- Sailors from the American Yacht Club and Larchmont Yacht Club excelled on Opti Day, riding the waves to first-place finishes in all five fleet categories Thursday as Larchmont Race Week completed its junior races at the Larchmont Yacht Club.

American’s Gabriella DelBello took first in the White Group-Yellow Fleet, teammate Emma Jakobson placed first in the Blue Division-Black Fleet and Sam Papert won the Red division-Red Fleet race for the Rye club.

Larchmont Yacht Club’s Harrison Roth sailed home in first place in the White Group-Blue Fleet and Will Gallagher took the Blue Division-Green Fleet trophy for the host club. Final Results
