”The buyer originally contacted me in search of space to lease,” said Garry Klein of Houlihan Lawrence's Commercial Real Estate Group. “After speaking with him, and getting a true understanding of the client’s needs, it simply made sense for them to own a piece of property that would provide his very established business with continued growth and exposure with the added benefit of the residential unit to offset the cost of property ownership.”
The building was sold to a hardware store owner, and its 2,500-square-foot first-floor storefront space will be used for his carpet, flooring and window treatment business. The 1,250-square-foot residential unit above will be leased.
